Wellbeing
We have strong links with partners across Darlington to ensure that wellbeing and safeguarding is a high priority within everything that we do. This includes partnerships with other educational settings, professionals across the local authority, the Darlington Borough Council Safeguarding Team, the school nursing team, Children's Initial Advice Team and a range of school councillors, trauma-informed practitioners and mental health experts.
If you have a concern about a child or family:
-
Please call school or pop in to speak to Mr Kirby-Bowstead (Designated Safeguarding Lead) or Mrs Carvey (Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead);
-
You may want to report your concern to Darlington Children's Front Door Service via 01325 406222. This can be done anonymously if you wish.
-
Alternatively, you can contact the Front Door team for advice using their e-mail address: childrensfrontdoor@darlington.gov.uk
