•    Sewing Club
•    Board Game Club
•    Football
•    Yoga and Mindfulness

•    Code Club
•    Reading Club
•    OT and SALT Club
•    Multiskills
•    Sing and Sign
•    Netball
•    Allotment Club
•    Craft Club

For the 2023-2024 academic year there were 870 places available in our clubs in total, of which 33.45% of places were assigned to Pupil Premium Children. Of all Pupil Premium Children across school, 81.54% attended at least one after club across the academic year. We ensure that our after school clubs are free of charge to all children and families so barriers to attendance are reduced as far as is possible.

Other enrichment opportunities

All of our children in Year 3 learn how to play the ukulele and some of our children in Years 5 and 6 have received woodwind and violin lessons from an expert teacher from the music service.

All of our Year 5 children participate in the ‘Power of Women’ workshops provided through Tees Valley Spark, where they are given the opportunity to meet a number of professionals and learn about writing a CV, writing an application form and how to present themselves successfully in a job interview, with a number becoming our special ‘Power of Women Ambassadors’ and participating in visits to PD Ports, Hartlepool College and Ampleforth.

All of our children across KS2 also participate in our annual ‘World of Work Week’ in the summer term, where they have the opportunity to listen to a wide range of professionals speak about their career, what their daily role entails, the required qualifications and personal attributes and that the best and most difficult parts of each job were – in addition to an opportunity to ask questions. Visitors have included a nurse, a computer programmer and games designer, a solicitor, a veterinarian, a professional photographer, a football manager, emergency service representatives, a local councillor, a GP, armed forces representatives, a biochemist, a financial advisor/banker and a member of the safeguarding team for TikTok.
