The teaching of geographical knowledge, concepts and skills is part of a broad and balanced primary curriculum. We aim to make it inspiring, relevant, motivating and fun. Progressive and effective curriculum coverage is delivered though a range of creative teaching and learning strategies using resources that are relevant and appropriate to the children being taught.  Geography is a subject that can develop a deep understanding of place, people and environments on a local, national, European and global scale.  Through a topic-based approach we aim to ensure full coverage of National Curriculum objectives and foster links with other subject areas wherever possible.
