At Heathfield Primary School, children will learn about France and have the opportunity to understand and respond to the French language.
We will provide opportunities to speak French with increasing confidence and fluency improving the accuracy of pronunciation and intonation. They will learn songs, rhymes and stories in French.
As the curriculum develops across Key Stage 2, children will be able to read carefully and show understanding of words, phrases and simple writing.
